Tin Can Trimaran. What happened?

There was a big thread on this guy here on the forum, but its too old to reply to. I couldn't find out what ever happened to this lunatic. Does anyone know if he continued his voyage after his beams almost fell off?

Last I read was that he effected temporary repairs in Santa Cruz and then schlepped the boat back to an undisclosed yard somewhere in the SF Bay Area.

Zip since then.

I would like to think he has given up, but going by his past exploits it seems he doest know when to quit. I was expecting something a bit more dramatic.
