| Timber to Aluminum mast? I would like to upgrade a 39ft from water line Spruce timber construction mast, I would like to change it to aluminum but have no idea how or if it would be worth it. I need your experience. |

| any spar shop will tell you all you want to know. then they'll take your money. it mat be worth it- you'll save some weight up high, aero-section will be cleaner, fittings can be lighter. much less maintenance too. it's just the gasp when you hear the price that is the problem. |
