SS vs Synthetic rigging

    How does Dyneema stand up to lighting strikes???

    Dyneemas is polyethylene and has very low conductivity, so unless it is directly heated by a conductor in the vicinity it is not concerned. When heated it melt at low temperature, as epoxy and polyester.
