what is wrong with that Ninja Spider? it looks like with modest wind it keeps burying the lee ama. What does it need? a larger ama, lifting foil?

Nice looking little tri, but watching the video does not make me want to own one.

Paddy, I don't get it: when I go to post 50 the two pictures of the boat are right there at the bottom,-easy to see. What does it look like to you exactly?

Can you see these ok-I'm wondering if my computer is messing them up some how for others to look at? Don't even konw if that is possible?

 

Jesus Doug, you've really got a problem if you look at those pictures and all you see is a boat. You are a single guy, living in a beach condo in one of the most high density beach lifestyle locations in the United States. Even in your sixties you should have trouble seeing the boats in those pictures. Live a little and spend more on buying rum concoctions for tourists and less on epoxy and carbon. I'd be happy for you to find some socially "beneficial" friends that take time away from your computer. Not my thing, but even the grey haired guy may float your boat if the two stunning women don't make you want to pump your bilges.

Looks like it needs some help-at least if it were mine I'd at least want an ama foil. There is the Weta/Ninja school of thought where the idea is to bury the ama to depower before capsizing then there is the fly the main hull school of thought but on small tri's that is hard to do unless you have a lot of buoyancy(weight) in the ama. That whole conundrum is what my test model is all about.....
