| Groupama leading now-must be very close! Does Oman have lifting foils? http://www.routedurhum-labanqueposta...php?classe=103

| Sodebo still leading, Oman (no foils) second, Groupama third. Sodebo seems to have a slight speed advantage over the others. Not surprising, Coville holds the single handed 24 hour record. Strange there are no Kite boards leading the fleet. Sorry, very bad taste joke. |

| Sodebo is sure doing well.... OMAN says(google translation): "Here it is, the debate is launched .... I imagine you on shore to scratch your head and discuss the different routes! For my part, I leave Marcel Van Triest brainer, it is there for me, I advance, trying not to leave me behind. Actually my classmates are going a little faster with their foils ... But we knew it! So it's not worth making a cheese! " Positions: http://routedurhum-labanquepostale.g...om/2010/?lg=fr

| 100' multi's On the positions shown on the map above Groupama appears to be in the lead but they still say Sodebo is. Oman appears to have made a sharp right turn.....

| And yet more interest; North, middle or South? Oman swings a hard right along with Lemonchois aboard 50 Prince de Bretagne while 50 Crepes Whaou is close to the big leaders along with Idec and Gitana in the middle. Those 50's are fast (no foils Doug). Is Franck's south route going to pay off? My money is on Coville. |

| Franck Cammas is going to slow in lighter winds soon whereas Thomas is going to veer a little west to stay in better stuff. Another prediction; the foil boats are going to stamp their authority over those without, eh Chris? |

Ha!You recognize Chris, too?! Strange, if you ask me......I mean, who's he trying to fool?? And, more importantly: why???

| Is Franck going to sneak through? - don't think so - and he's going even further east - and Thomas has stronger breeze coming and looking good. Francis is going well but he's going to be in the dead stuff soon. |

| At 2:20PM Eastern Groupama was doing almost 25 knots and the rest of the boats 15-16.....except Gitana which is doing 20 knots. And Groupama has a good lead..

| Well, wrong again - not unusual - but still early days. All these sailors sailing these monsters are outstanding blokes. As are all the competitors. |

| Correct, Gary. There are still many days out on the water that have to unfold before anything like a clear leader is observable. Shore crews and routers are feverishly at work running all sorts of possibilities for what is out there in front of them and someone will get it more right than the others. That's what makes it fun. What is seen now will mean nothing come tonorrow. |

Oh? Two Hundred miles(or 119?) in front at 4:25 Eastern is not a good lead? http://routedurhum-labanquepostale.g...om/2010/?lg=fr
