Selling 30 Foot Cat hull - Cheap

I have a 30 foot catamaran just sitting along side the house. It's an off-shore raceboat design - mid 80's. My project never got off the ground, and my wife wants is gone!!! It would make someone else a good project boat, or to use for making a mold. No power, no rigging, no trailer.

I have the boat on Craig's list also. It's listed under "melbourne". There is a couple of photo's. My wife put it on Craig's List, and she mistakenly put it under Melbourne - but it's Melbourne, Australia!! (There are actually many Florida listing in Melbourne, Australia). Anyway, that's where you find the pics. Rory.

Hi Frosty,
Well, if I don't get rid of this boat, you may be hearing from her directly!!!! I'm sure she would be able to find a few choice items!!!

Mmmm.... Frosty was a bit gentle there. The real Q is how much do you think the wife is going to get for you - even if you're after all the other items as Frosty suggested. Have you any good life insurance ?

Hi Fanie and RHP,
I seemed to have given a bad impression on my wife!!! I must confess - the cat is sitting on the cement drive along side the house, and I am in the planning stages of building a detached garage in the back yard. I also need the boat gone to be able to access my new BIG beautiful future garage!!! The boat is also sitting right in front of the only window we have in our kitchen eating area. (That's the part she doesn't like.) I can't move the boat out of the way of the window because my enclosed racecar trailer takes up the rest of the drive!! To many man-things - hence the new garage. After almost 20 years with my wife (and not enough life insurance to matter), I think I'll keep the wife and get rid of the cat!!!

You have my sympathy. I know the wife forced you to say what you just did in your last post.
