Team Lalou have worked on optimizing their Multi50 and Lalou himself has been working on his fitness for the race. They have a good prospect of winning the Multi50 division if the cards fall their way.

I had the chance to wander along the quays at St Malo a few days ago.I was fascinated by the steering linkages and the rudders.

That's a damn shape! One of the 50's is out too.....

 

Yes Loic Fequet has been forced to retire on the Multi50 Maitre Jacques. A real shame since his upgraded boat was in with a good chance in the class. Starboard float damage seems the bow has broken off which is really strange since the boat has had brand new floats fitted.
