| Power Cat Hello everyone. I am interested in building a 25" trailable power cat. I have no sailing experience so I prefer engines. What I am looking for is: at least 4 births (prefer 6) safe and stable (I never go out in force 5 winds) driven by 2 outboards (though I prefer diesel inboards) in a central well galley with standing headroom say 6" cruising speed of say 12/15 kts. max speed say 20 kts room for fishing My garage is 30" by 10" so I have to build it in parts and assamble it outside. I might build the hole bridge deck outside. Any ideas are greatly appreciated |

| Looks like my Skoota 24 powercat would be ideal for you www.sailingcatamarans.com/skootas.htm (scroll down to see the link to the Skoota 24 study plan). As you can see the prototype 20 is now motoring around. The 24 plans will be available shortly Richard Woods of Woods Designs www.sailingcatamarans.com |
