outrigger sailboat

i am currently experamenting with a canoe and a hobie 16 hull to make a small and light outrigger i am having trouble with the attaching of the hobie hull and the issue if i shuld use a trampoline between the canoe and the hull
if anyone has built one before your help is apreciated
