OMR - What is it?

Yes, yes - I know it is the Offshore Multihull Rule for rating multihulls for handicapping in offshore races.

But I cannot seem to find anywhere on the web where it tells me how the handicap is calculated. I know it uses boat weight and sail area but can anyone tell me more?

Thanks,
Andrew
