He did not claim it wasn't true either, didn't name the source after the script wording, his name is on the post just some inverted commas

I think gary is quite capable on defending and speaking for himself KIWI to KIWI.

This is what caused the NZ press to carry on for so long with the suggestion the americans cheated with their boat and thats how they won. It was put to bed when Dalton stated he was not going to protest after the committe stated if he did it would be rejected as he was to late in time period to protest.

Doesn't need a third party to speak for him.

On the other website always crying to the webmaster to ban posters. Calling anybody that had a different view to his a Troll.

Heaps complained about the use off the word troll. Here he is on this website infecting it.

I'm not sure why your software is giving you this warning. The link goes to the official America's Cup noticeboard. Here are the links to the individual documents for Liveline stats on each race:

Oceancruiser, stop making things up - I've never complained to web site managers to ban people; not my style, running to teacher. Sheeet!
Thought I'd posted a reasonable reply on the origins of the quote - do a little work and go to Wooden Boat and find the poster's name yourself. It's a nom de plume anyway.

Just listened to the Deaker/Montgomery interview posted on Sailing Anarchy. Petes and Deaks have convinced me (and maybe other conspiracy "nutters" too) - Coutts is God, along with Ben, and they won fair and square.
The AC45 cheating was a mere aberration, to be dismissed as just the ranting of tin hat crazies.
Now, you're either with us or agin us.
    End of story???

Wow Gary, I'll put away the Tommy Lipton Supercharge your Psycho I mean Psychic Tea. This batch had mushrooms that weren't chantrelles! Seriously this cup divided both countries involved and both sides had issues with their champions. Now it is time to heal and I for one will move on to lucid dreaming and leave behind the taint of lurid scheming. Or some such nonsense.....as before the budget only copes with water but I'm saving my pin money for the monastery elixir of more enlightened life.

You will notice, me old drinking? mates, Cav and Doug, there were a few question marks in my acquiescence - still a few rodents not yet dead - but I'll hang up the 12 gauge.
And revert to prepping my own low tech boats - a more realistic and healthier craziness. Cheers.

Cheers Gary, to question is healthy. The only thing we can assure in life is that our own endeavors are honest.

Our Navy used to say "Don't give up the ship" but now there is the codicil that says "unless there is sufficient incentive" http://www.komonews.com/news/nation...involving-cash-and-prostitutes-230917651.html

I'm working on another mantra..."Give me diamonds, give me pearls, give me 60 naked girls..." Mind you since I sail straight I just get a good breeze and our winter rain for a cold shower.....

I had a Gen-U-Wine Trappist Blue Chimay this last weekend (and paid through the nose for it). Good stuff... but I actually preferred the Wreck Alley Imperial Stout I had the night before, for half the price. Does that make me a Philistine? :D

That's one of the things I love about Southern California, though. I found both beers at a Ralph's grocery store a couple of miles down the road, instead of having to search through specialty liquor stores that might or might not carry them.

I already have the grain and yeast for brewing another Belgian saison-type ale this weekend, but I think I'm going to get adventurous and try to brew an imperial stout after that. Gonna need to build a bigger mash tun first; the recipe I was looking at calls for 21 pounds of grain - for a five gallon batch.

I plugged along for years brewing a couple of gallons now and then, mostly from hopped malt extracts. But lately I've decided to get a little more serious about my brewing and do it from scratch, cracking barley and wheat and turning it into beer. Having fun so far....
