New Zealand Buffalo Catamaran

Hi all,
I am searching for any information on when and where in New Zealand the 14ft Buffalo was built. There seems to be alot around and I am keen on building one. Are there any moulds floating around? Any info would be much appreciated, thanks Karl

1970's-1980s I think, a NZ designed Hobie clone. But why build one? You can pick them up for a grand and you won't build one for that. or Whatabout this for a project?
