Interesting Schionning pod cat from 1998

    I recall seeing the construction of this interesting boat detailed in a multihull world from 1998 curious to know if it ever launched and how it sailed.

    Looks the business for sure. I spent some time looking at old versions of the Schionning site on the Wayback Machine. Interesting to see how their range has developed over time. The Growler sailing design was pulled from the site around 2006/2007, and I see the name has been re-used for a power cat, which is probably more appropriate (noisy), although one can't help wondering whether they are aware of the slang connotation ;). Anyhoo found this layout plan. Be cool to see some photos of the finished article.
