Maybe they are for concrete sub woofers, but that would be animal cruelty. :D

Concrete sub meowers would be okay.

Correct. He launched very much sooner than Mosquito (full boat name).
Mosquito Magnet actually left Ft. DeSoto on Saturday while Mosquito didn't leave until Monday.

real names, tribal names, aka this and that, boat names, it all gets confusing. I'm suggesting that the boats have numbers on them, yeah, just one more thing to put into the mix but I hope that at least when you see a boat you can track down the rest. Some boats already have numbers on their sails so go ahead and pick your number. thoughts?

The thing I would appreciate would be a picture of the boat as a part of the roster. That would tell you a lot relative to the tracking tool. Also some of the competitors do not fill in the boat type, which would help.

I kept trying to find and remember the PD Racer so I could track it - never worked for me. That was mostly morbid curiosity.

a roster sheet like you describe would be great but come the day of the race the only ones available to do that kind of work are the spectators.

there seems to be plenty of pics of the line up on the beach at the start. If they had a number then it would be easy enough to put together a roster sheet while sitting in the bleachers watching all of this.

After this event is all said and done I'll have to bring this idea up at the forum, I already mentioned it but it was during the heat of battle and may not of been heard.
