| Help me compare this designs (fast 38f catamarans) (I mean "these") Nr. 1 Dazcat 12R http://dazcat.co.uk/Designs%20D12R.htm Nr. 2 Spirited 380 Raceline http://www.spiriteddesigns.com.au/?pageId=7265 All comments are welcome. We want a "race" catamaran in this size, capable to sleep in the hulls but also serious blue water sailing. I guess the price will be simular for both. (only received from one manufacturer yet). And if you know simular designs, you are welcome to tell me. Last edited by Nordicsail : 05-18-2010 at 04:19 PM. Reason: spelling |

Do you mean the open oceans when you say "blue water sailing"? Both vessels are sure NOT designed for real cruising, let alone blue water cruising. Though racing with them sounds interesting. Regards Richard |

| You might also want to consider the Radical Bay 1060 from Jeff Schionning - www.schionningdesigns.com.au. I sail a lot on the smaller bi-mast 8m sister here in the quite tough waters around Cape Town and can only praise the sea-keeping qualities of this design! Roger |
