    I have no additional info, the video turned up in my facebook feed, I thought it was worth sharing.

    What impresses me is modest power required to get the boat on foils. After seeing this I think the people's foiler will likely have a sail that generates a minimal heeling force, like an archsail for example. I think the pyramid rig on the new rave reinforces the validity of this approach as well.

    The peoples foiler ... will be a sit down kite foiler with pedal assist for staring in light air. The heeling loads are thus easy to compensate for since they are low.

    Hard to find another rig option to equal the performance of a kite.

    That's a very very good idea! It would be very easy to modify the one shown above to do that, if the foils could handle the sideways loads. One guy can steer, and one could run the kite! I like it! Moth's would not have a chance, and you don't have to get all wet to run one of these!
