I can drive past the address and have a look at the boat if anyone is interested in buying it (just down the road from me).

I like to learn what to be suspicious of . . . I see the mast in pic 3 . . . .

Is there a need to be suspicious just about the spelling or is there something else . . .

The house in pics matches with the given address when it's looked up in Street View.

Yeah, the mast might be under cover, you'd want to ask...could be why it's cheap, but they normally go for $12-20K in good nick and 'sail away'.

I notice it has the ama-side tramp attachment mod one of the Kiwi builders came up with, that bit with the slots in it, that I think Farrier then added to later designs, so at least that inicates it's not a really early one, I would assume.

It's got no cabin, that changes everything. the glass 19' open decks go for between 7 and 14. This is 24' but ply so it probably balances out.

a 720 with cabin at 10 would have to have lots of repairs needed, but no cabin no $

One with cabin needing a sand and paint went for less than $7K here last year

That would be cheap if it had no rot.

Often cabined boats come with cruising extras, from heads to nav and safety gear not necessarily found on open boats. This affects price.

If the TT720 is cheap, what does that say about this TT680?

Double the money but I don't see double the boat? Does it have gold plated fittings or something?

The world is full of optimists, but that one hardly rates. I've seen a 720 asking $35k plus....

As I said in another thread the web is littered with boats on websites that just sit there for years. Silly prices. Owners obviously not serious about selling.

I can confirm the boat exists. It was at our local roundabout where everyone parks their cars and boats to sell.

We have an F9 listed up here by a blokes wife at the moment. No way it is going to sell unless under the cover of darkness
As a side note I reckon that is a great set up for an older smaller tri.Mostly used for day sails and camping in good times.
