| F31 or F32 Can anyone tell me if they think there is a greater advantage to the F32 as compared with the F9AX? I am looking into buying some plans and material from a guy and I dont know wheather it is worth it to buck up for the F32 upgrade. If I do, I will have two floats for an F9AX I cant use. Total upgrade would null the floats and cost me another $750 in plans. |

| What do you need? What can you afford? Do that! |

Chances are there are more F9/F31 boats in your area if you're interested in racing. Everything's going to be bigger on the F32, including mast and sails. If you trailer a lot, the F31 is going to be much handier. The F31 is about as big as one person can trailer. It gets to be more of a production with the F32 because the mast is heavier to put up. Definitely doable, but the F33 owners I know keep their boats in the water, which can be a whole new ball-game with regard to recurring costs. I'd say, if you have to ask the question, you want the smaller boat.
