Cavitation plate depth

I think everyone knew you were talking about ventilation when you said cavitation. Don't take it hard if your terminology is corrected. If your engines are up against the transom then the anti-ventilation plates should probably be about even with the keels. If they're offset from the transom then raise them about an inch for each foot of offset. There may be other factors as was mentioned so it would probably be best to use the middle mounting holes so you can adjust the height if you need to.

Cavitation and Ventilation are different things and one doesn't cause the other.
