    Catamaran hulls for the houseboat

About 6 meters long, and enough big to carry a small sauna and a small living room for two people.

    Thanks,

    Juhani

Check e.g. glen-l.com plans in the house boat section.

Best luck for your sauna project, I know that there have been a plenty of such made in this country. :)

    Sauna in a houseboat

No, it is not a steam boat at all. You know, here our lakes ice smelts in beginning of May and so at summer time we enjoy a lot of to go to sauna and then jump to and swim in cool water about 20 degrees Celsius. Here are many people who swim also at winter time, you'll get serotonin and dopamin in your nerve system after swimming. Hypofys (lat. glandula pituitaria/hypophysis) excrete betaendorfins and you feel and enjoy of them and they soothe pains, which method is used here in Finland at rheumatism disease and they give for patients minus -110 degrees Celsius treatments in hospitals. It helps pains of the patient.

Now you know that why we like sauna and swimming in cool and clean water in the country of Thousand Lakes and Islands Finland! We can drink directly the water from lake and cook coffe or food from it. We yet have fresh and pure and clean air to breathe in to lungs. Welcome to visit the best country of the World.

Steam boat was a play on words because of the steam in the sauna on a boat. :)

No, but I read that it involved pouring water on hot rocks to make a warm very humid environment. Correct?

Correct! When you have had a fire (or electric heating element) in saunstove so long that the temperature in sauna room is about 70-80 degrees Celsius, then you can start batheing in sauna throwing water on the heated rocks, so you get steam and you begin sweat a lot of and get your skin off from dirty when you wash yourself after sauna or jump to the lake. As children we could go to sauna and then jump to lake about four hours time in a day! What a great enjoy. At night no waiting for sleep to come!

May I suggest using drugs as a cheaper option?
