Catamaran Beam froud number!

Hi all

for a multihull vessel how does Beam Froud number caculate? It s base on overal beam, or demihulls beam?

It depends on what you are trying to achieve. You can use either the beam of each hull, or the distance between demihull centreplanes, or the overall width.

Are you sure you need to use this Froude number?
