The US and AUS dollars are at par right now. This means that this last set of B24 plans are still $150.00 in both US and AUS dollars. This package contains more that just the plan sheets. Extras are sheets showing the alternative spade rudder, a simple mainsheet/outhaul system which eliminates the need for an expensive mainsheet track, a booklet on the wood/epoxy building method which extends the life of your boat by a factor of five, a booklet showing how a B24 was built in six weeks and sailing in nine, plus backup help and advice from one who has been involved in the building and sailing of no less than six Buccaneers. PM me if interested.

If you put some 'rails' on the bottom you'll be able to 'sail' on the lakes in the winter or put a 'snow-blade' on the front & clear the driveway - to get to the lake. Join in - tell us who you are - what you're up tp - sailing wise or what you want to do with future sailing. OH & welcme a- to our mad-mob of sailing nuttos ! ! ! Bit warm over there @ the moment but I'll stay right here in OZ. Ciao, james |

Hello everyone - I've just come back to this forum after a spell away so I missed the excitement around oldsailor7's 'retirement'. Who do we go to now for a set of Buc.24 plans? I am keen to get them.

Some "bruce" mods I knocked one of the ugly metal bow eyes off last season, so I replaced them with these carbon ones. They are light and well tested by now. The genoa tracks are for a 155% jib, sheeted close that has really worked well. (they are at the very aft end of the cockpit). One of my crew enjoying the Buc as it is intended ![]() B

prod of the year I needed a longer spinnaker pole so I built this. Our rules (and dock space) require a retracting pole, so this is my latest attempt. It is just over 7' from the bow extended and works fine when set or retracted, but line control when retracting has been an issue. It can be adjusted about 15 degrees off centerline, and is effective, but not worth the effort on the short courses we race. I will probably try an underslung extending pole to simplify things next year, and maybe a short, fixed mount for the reacher. B

Wish I had a "good" picture Thanks SR. Sorry you are not in the USA, I am always ready to demonstrate the Buc. I don't have any interesting sailing pics, but I am hoping to get some sometime this season. I will post when I do B
