Banque Populaire IX Fitted With Uptip Ama Foils

    Doug Lord Flight Ready

    For the same reason as Maserati("L" foils that work like uptip foils) and Spindrift, Banque Populaire IX will use uptip foils on each ama along with rudder T-foils to allow the boat to fly.The uptip foils provide automatic altitude control with no moving parts. As with Spindrift, no mention of the "Manta" foil used by Maserati on the main hull:
