Assymetric Cat Hulls

    So, WHAT is similar to the Malibu Outrigger? I'll watch with interest as you continue with your boat.

    Perhaps only the akas and outrigger...this boat will be proa-like, but also cat-like, with larger outrigger but power centered on one hull...like MO. MO is ingenious boat, but certainly dated, to me. Just having fun.

    Still wondering if asymmetric main hull makes any sense...

    It makes perfect sense...grateful for info...I went with both, which I can change.

    Almost wet, will post pics Calculator...took awhile...Minnesota not the best place to build a boat, so son said to name it "Aboat Time," which it is.

    Hi Ron, thank's for posting the map with GBS overlay.
    My other newish asymmetrical cat, the DUO 480 C "jigsaw", is going even a step further. The boat sports a biplane rig and only one central rudder. Also this
    boat sails good to windward and is tacking well
