    hello Doug,
    I thought it might be interesting to revive this subject thread. I think when this idea of twin free-standing mast first appeared i paid little attention to it for a number of reasons. But know I think it might just have some viablility?

    Do you (or any others) know of any reasons for that rig failure they experienced?
