the right choice

I'm looking for a cat that can be sailed by one or two. We're selling our house in the Hamptons to buy her. I'm torn between a 38 ft Fountaine Pajot Athena (which I can afford), or a 40 ft FP Lavezzi, (which I must wait for). Does anyone in the design world know which one would be best for sailing open ocean? This is a big decision, and I must make the right choice. Thank you.

I looked up your history, I see you are the same age as me,,exept slightly older ,I was born on the 1/25/60,, you are at the threshold of being young and old,, patients,,,,patients,, which boat do you like for yourself?surely you can wait awhile for what you want ,,others are probabaly involved ,,,your wife ?,,this seems like something you will have to live with a long time.dont be cheap! spend some money on surveys for both boats ,,,,,,,,then go with your heart,,,,,good luck and let us know ,,,also pics are great,,,,,,,because some of us dont live at the beach,,,,,,,,,,,,,longliner

The profile doesn't really give all the info about a person. So yes, I'm older than you, but it's never polite to remind a woman how old she is. My fience' is the sailor in the family, and I'm the mover and shaker. I try to get things rolling. Maybe, I'm just a little pushy. I want to wait for the Lavezzi, but he wants to start his new adventures. I haven't heard very good things about the Athena, and only good things (from dealers) about the Lavezzi. Who wouldn't want the commission on a $300,000 boat? What are pics great of?
