| A question to Guillermo and everybody also Hi Guillermo, Do you remember the Renato "Sony" Levis design of a fast sailing boat. She was typical Sonny Levis design almost a Delta shape, with a small mast an sail. They said she get at 20 + mph under engine, and was going a pretty good clip under sail. I think she was 40' in lenth, with a 400 hp, but with all late Sonny Levis design you had this huge V overhang joining the deck in a cone shaped and reverse sheer like in his racing motor boat like Surfrider. Very dramatic I think she was a good attempt on small scale. My favorite motor sailer was and is Blue Leopard. Yes I can dream, it's free And an other one from the board of Giles is the earlier design for the same owner Star Sapphire built in Italy by Beltrami. Is Beltrami still in business? I had such an admiration for this yard. Daniel |
