what do you mean no Santa? there is a real person Saint Nicolas, Bishop of Myra, that all of the stories are built around (most of the stories ridiculous). But he was a real person that we have historical evidence that he existed. Unfortunately since he did not leave a lot of writings behind we do not know a lot factual information of him as a person. So the slander of him continues.

No one has mangaged to make a sub use a sail, though most of the early subs were actually surface craft with the capability to submerging for short periods of time. Buy a surpluse deisel power WWII sub and fix a sail to it, and you would have done it.

What I would like to see is a roadable boat that can also fly. There are roadable aircraft, and floating cars, and flying boats, but no one has combined all three, which I think would be easier, especially if it was a one seat ultralight type vehicle with a three wheel "road mode" (less restrictions on a three wheel "motorcycle" than something with four wheels). Though as PAR points out, it will do none of these things well, and likely just barely go any of these modes. But a fun experiment anyway.

I believe team Australia tried to use an America's cup sail boat as a submarine during the AC event in San Diego.

Hardly slander, just typical exaggeration and embellished for children .

Moses , mary Jesus , etc etc

Not magical or able to do miracles --nor did he have flying reindeer's.

Just a man who liked to give presents. Possible similar to those above.

As I have told my six year old daughter many times:

"Santa only exists if you believe in him"

    Pretty simple me thinks.

There was actually one case around the early days of WWII.. US sub run out of diesel Hawaii whereabouts, jury rigged some canvas and sailed towards Honolulu..

The Portuguese Man O' War is a large and deadly colony of jellyfish, partly submerged, propelled by both expelling water and a hollow sail.

I think that answers the OP's question.

Na na,--- the man o war is totally submerged all the time, it swims and is not large. It has testicles at least 2 meters long that stings like hell.

Urine . bleach. lemon . onion , petrol , deisel does nothing for the excruciating pain that has no visible marks at all.

Some people die of it as do some from bee stings.

The box jelly kills more --much more.

Actually I am completely and utterly incorrect CDK is correct --it sails.

Thats not the one that bit me. Ive been stung many times, when I dive on the props I get the missus to jelly fish watch.

Its the long testicles that gets hung round your knees or ankles that hurts.
