Welding - Parent Metal/Filler question

Hello,

I'd like to ask any experienced alloy welders out there a couple basic questions.....

If one is using 4mm 5083 for the hull/skin and 4mm 6061 for the stringers and such in a marine application what is the correct filler wire to use when MIG welding (5183, 4043, 5356) ? Also, is it correct to assume that you would not use heat treated 5083? Could you verify what the correct specs are ie: 5083 h116 or 5083 h321, etc? Would the 6061 be called 6061 T6 for the extrusions?

Thanks in advance to clarify this for me! Just trying to get some bits together to play around with it.

best - Jay

yes 6061T6 for structural members, such as pressed up frames, in 6061 which offers best charecteristics salt water
5086 H116 , 320, BEST TO GET CERTIFIED PLATE, WHICH IS EASILY OBTAINED from suppler,
5000 series wire, 5356 .is the only suitable wire French pl is best Pechinay but there are many suppliers ex plate
