From the sublime to the rediculous....?

As incredible as it seems – the hull of the SeaWave and all frames are made of Monel! All of the hull plating from the waterline down is made of Monel, as is the entire stern and bow sections. The entire rudder is made of Monel, as is the shaft and all major fittings - including one of the fuel tanks! We only know of one other sailboat that is built out of Monel.

Wow! First time I have seen a boat made out of monel to the waterline, including frames. I wonder if there would be a problem at the junction?

Very curious to know what their 50' cat is made from and the thought processes behind the change!

A need for speed, space & comfort?
