prob with gullco gbm-18 beveling machine

while beveling, the machine pushes the plate out. it bevels only 20 or so mm and then the plate slides out of the teeth.

gullco gbm-18

A photo would help. Am I right in assuming that you have the gbm-18 floor or table mounted? And, you are feeding the material? I prefer the "bug" bevellers, like the gullco kat, great for out-of-position (in the field) cuts/bevels. I don't have time to read the specs/brochure. Does this unit have feeder rolls? I watched the video and know that I wouldn't be happy with a beveller rolling along the floor with no track to control it. I'd suggest you create a track, so the beveller cannot move away from plate.
Best of luck!
Mike
