    Thank-you all for your responses (even the sarcastic ones). Mr. Branson, your cutting file prices are very reasonable. I will be building a live-aboard vessel at some point and escape the ratrace. On that point I'm certain I am not a "dreamer". Thanks again, d.s.

    Just to add a fly to the ointment, have you ever seen Jay Benford's "Friday Harbor Ferry?" Here is a design that would be right at home in B.C.waters. I will have a closer look at this one.
