Kiwi Roa - 15 m alloy expedition yacht

Hi all, this is one of my first posts here. Some of you may have seen this but it occurred to me it's be appropriate to share here. This page is about the general construction and design philosophy of Kiwi Roa, an aluminium sloop intended for both tropical cruising and high latitudes expeditions.

www.petersmith.net.nz/about/kiwiroa.php

It's a bit involved so anyone interested in aluminium construction should put a cup of tea on...

The photos are mostly scanned from old film/prints, and old details required checking, so it took a little work to put together!

Comments welcome.
