| Some of the Garvey designs would be easy enough to do plate development for. You would still have to do the scantlings and interior structure. Gary ![]()

| cnc kits hi guys i got 2 kitset aluminium boats (12 ft runabouts. 1/8 thick) cut in seattle by alaska copper and brass, i paid a royalty to the designer in nz. after all costing and stuff was done, the designer forwarded the cutting files to acb, and they cnc router cut them. i will put them together second week of may when im bac at my shop. i can supply a kit aswell. kiwi Last edited by kiwihere2 : 03-15-2011 at 02:49 PM. | Try these guys: www.metalboatkits.com/16_foot_skiff/16footskiff.htm Its more of a skiff design than a jon boat but it might work for ya. They sell a 12' and a 16' version. The only thing I don't like about it is that it calls for the use of oversize sheets of Al. (I think 5' X 20') I know that it makes for less welding and a fairer build, but I have a TON of 4' X 8' sheet laying around. Its a good looking boat though... |
