Information requested on boat design!!

I am currently looking for a company/manufacturer/consultant who can help me with designing a boat/yacht type vessle for dinner parties and entertaining. A kind of spin on a basic dinner cruise, but more modern, fun and more like a dance party/club!

I have a few ideas on the interior and the look of the boat so I will really be focussing on the actual design and structure.

I am exploring what i will be able to accomplish in a space that isn't on the ground. So far everyone has been designign restaurants and night clubs for there senior thesis, and I want to be a little different.

I am in the process of collecting information on various boat builders/designers and from there I will funnell my ideas.

Similar to what you see on the attached link below.

http://www.jebelali-international.co...2009.sflb.ashx

http://www.blueroomsydneyharbour.com.../06guests.html

The specification are as follows:

56m long and 13m wide

• Ideal for corporate events, product launches, press conferences,
conventions, private parties, fashion shows, birthdays, wedding
receptions, meetings and more.
• Can accommodate up to 300 guests for cocktail receptions and
200 guests for sit-down banquets.
• Events can be tailor-made to suit your requirements in terms of
décor, ambience, entertainment, fireworks, laser shows and more.
• Ŕ-la-carte menus, breakfasts, lunches, dinners and cocktail parties.

Please let me know if you know of a company can build such an vessle or a similar type? and a rough cost estimate if possible?

Thanks in advance.

Amir

Student projects are entertaining at times. By the way your links are not working ( at least when I tried )
Yep several yards will build that size boat, in Oz it's all alloy yards. I'd estimate around $2e6 finished and 10 months to delivery.

You'd have no problem getting this built at one of Austals yards, the one in Margate Hobart would handle that size vessel with ease.

amir31,
I feel that the global economic status is not conducive to such an investment... UAE has just averted a major meltdown, and no other centres in the world are ready to ensure your investment in that field would be viable long term...

A remote sanctuary for those needing some absolute privacy and security for a couple of years may be an interesting option that could be found offshore in another country...

I am not asking for an investment. Have my own funds to invest. let me know if you can recommend a manufacturer.

Thanks

I think there is a builder in Perth who is familiar with putting together such projects as you identify... That size is out of my league and many others participating in this forum, who are from Australia...

Send a 'Personal Message' to "spiv" - http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/profile/spiv.html He knows his way around Perth and should be able to point you to someone there... - I was last there in late 80's

I'm not sure what you mean, but Austal would be the best bet for the whole project.

Austal have yards in Perth WA and Margate TAS , the Margate yard was more involved in escoteric projects, WA is usually busy.

Contact them.
