How do I remove my steering wheel?

Hi all,
I'm trying to remove my steering wheel so I can replace the old plywood that my fuse panel is attached to but I can't seem to figure out how to take the rest of it off? The three nuts that you can see in the picture just move along with the screw so I need to get to the other side somehow to unscrew the steering wheel and remove it. If anyone has done this on a similar steering wheel or has an insight I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Is there not a cap in the middle of the wheel where the horn would be if it was a car. Its hard to see from your pic but if there is a cap it could have a bunch of fake screws and one real one holding it on. take it off and you should see a large nut holding the wheel onto the tapered shaft. By the way that boat wouldn't happen to be a Spectrum would it?

On the back of your steering wheel is four Phillips head screws (maybe a few more), which holds the outer cover in place on the spokes.

Once the outer cover is off, as Buraby mentioned, you'll see a big nut. Remove the nut, which usually requires you to lock down the steering wheel some how (a piece of pipe thru the spokes works). Some times you can just yank it off the shaft, but not very often. You might have some luck with a deadblow hammer on the back side, but you can damage or bend it. Most times you'll need a puller, which only takes a couple of turns to free it from corrosion, then it pops loose.

This will expose the heads of three machine bolts. Put a socket on the back and take them out. Now it'll drop in your lap.

if it stuck on with corrosion ,,spray it with (pb)gast penitraiting oil and let it soak for a day,,,,,

Thanks for the tips, removal went smooth and now I can continue the fun lol. By the way, Rocket, my boat is a Blu Fin Pro Fish. Not sure if you've ever heard of it because I can't seem to find another one like it myself lol. Thank again,
