| if you want a properly join aluminium hatch with steel deck you must used a triclads http://www.triclad.com/

| It is relatively simple. All it takes is a neoprene gasket to prevent the metals from touching. Also, there is a grease that helps isolating too. Most hatch companies sell it.

| It's very common to have alloy and wooden hatches on a steel deck. The coaming is steel not Triclad. As Gonzo says the touching part is the gasket. At the hinge you can simply use grease or if you want a dry hinge bush it with one of the bearing plastics like HDPFE.
