Does anyone have plans for this type of boat

I am looking to build an aluminum boat but I cannot find a set of prints for the boat I want. I want basically a jon stlye boat just bigger than normal. But I want an 8 foot beam. 20 to 22 feet long. Either a flat bottom or a shallow bottom. I am only fishing this in reservoirs and lakes with an occasional river trip. I live in Pa and target Muskie and there is just no perfect musky boat in my mind. I want a 10 foot rod locker with a capacity of 12 rods at least. 6 foot long elevated front casting deck and 4 foot long elevated casting deck in the rear. We are restricted to 20 horsepower for virtually all waters I fish so I know this boat will not go any where in a hurry and that is fine with me. I would like a side console but tiller would be O.K also for more storage. Am I crazy for not just buying the Sea Arc? I have looked long and close at them and they just don't have the quality for there price in my opinion. I have never built a boat before but am very proficient with welding and metal. I am a journey man boilermaker so I think I have the skill to build a vessel of this size. I just want to see what an expierienced builder has to say. Thank you Tad. That boat is very interesting. In your opinion how difficult would this be for a first time build. I have already found three shops that have water jets and EDM machines for plate cutting but we really don't have to many aluminum suppliers locally. Might have to see if my steel yard deals with Alcoa or not. I would really like to know what you think a boat like this would cost to build?

Not difficult...you get the parts and weld them together...just man hours and being careful to not work yourself into a box....tack the whole thing together, make adjustments, then weld her out.....

Note the Specmar boat is 2000 lbs of metal, vs 725 for the SeaArk...huge difference in durability....NC info cost, 2000 pounds at $3 + per/lb is your main cost, plus consumables.....

Wow I didnt even see the weight difference in the boats. Big difference in durability is probably an understatment
