Congratulations, she does'nt look too bad!! If you think I can advise on anything please ask. She is probably half full of water, in my opinion: Take a 2 inch holesaw and put a hole in the lowest convenient point, remembering you have to weld the patch up again. All the water and crap you generate on board will come out of this. Use a cheap acrylic waterproofer and membrane and patch every hole on deck temporarily, your bilge must be dry. Rust is now your enemy, assemble an arsenal of weapons. The angle grinder is your M16. My favourite is small one, 900W fitted with heavy duty twisted PFERD brush - then red oxide etch primer (thinners based, "coastcote") is your sidearm, with these two you will be able to turn the invador and make way for that wonderful invention - epoxy tar. Plan your work area, she shoud be close to you, have a good strong ladder access and complete workshop/storage area nearby. GOOD LUCK

Thanks Pengreg,
It is good to see I'm not the only one to see this as a diamond in the ruff. I had a good look at your page and you are doing great work. I will keep posting on this page as work starts happening. First I must get this boat shipped to my shop and hopefully it will start to warm up (working with steel in -20C is not my idea of fun). Cheers!
