aluminum, not plywood - Help!

I'd like to take the 44' Mirage, On ( GlenL.com ) and use aluminum, not plywood. how hard would that be? And would it weigh more or less? The boat can be found in ( Boat Plans & Kits Catalog ) then goto ( Power Cruisers ) its at the bottom. I would really be thankful for some help.
