The Wood Thread, sources, qualities, prices and the like

Hi Peers,

there are quite often questions coming up like,
where to get?
How to replace?
What will it cost?

This thread is thought to provide all the substantial info YOU have to form a general database for the interested member.

Please share your knowledge and experience, and sources of course.

Thank YOU!

Richard

One of the first problems many newbies have, is to sort out what we / they are talking about.
Here a database of the most common species worldwide. Includes technical properties of most species.

Many of us depend on local sources for our supplies. We all have our favorites and must be ready to offer info to newcomers from our particular regions.
