| wood strip for yacht deck Normally, teakwoods are in yellow colour. However , I found out some boat deck teakwood are in white colour. It seems to be having a white wash onto it. Why? It there a purpose to made the teakwood appears to be white colour? Are they more costly? Thanks Raymond |

| The white/grey appearance of teak is because it has not been treated with any paint/varnish/polish and under the influence of sunlight it turns to white/grey because the natural oils from the wood wash out.
