Where can I get CHEAP EPOXY?!

I've read that some people say they got US composites epoxy for under 50$ a gallon, but the cheapest type on they're website is 65$ plus at least 15 dollars shipping.

I want to know what is the cheapest you've payed for epoxy and where you got it.

I'm just looking for the cheapest epoxy I can find?
I'm in Seattle where can I get it?

Thanks so much!

If you buy a single gallon kit of epoxy, (including hardener) $60 is about right, paying retail prices. If you purchase 3 gallons (typically the first price break) the price can drop to $50 (again at retail).

How much do you need and what will it be used for?

Right now I only need less then a gallon but I figure buying a gallon would be most economical.

I'm laminating carbon fiber into shapes.

Where do you get your epoxy?

If you're not buying bulk and paying full retail, how can you expect to save anything?

raka.com has some of the cheapest epoxy I have found. I didn't use it, but it was the cheapest.

US composites seems to be the cheapest so far 70 bucks for 1.5 gallons of 635 thin epoxy, but 15 bucks shipping noooooooooooo

Where can I get similarly priced stuff locally?

Its more economical to simply buy in a large quantity . Resin keeps for ages Just get the hardener in small amounts .

1.5 gallons at a time?!? You're always going to get ripped off. I buy 55 gallons at a time and I still feel I'm paying too much.

I buy System Three at Revchem in Tacoma. http://www.revchem.com/ System three was $80.00 a gallon for the resin. and 1/2 gal #2 hardner was $68.88. Seemingly expensive but no shipping charge since I picked it up myself.

The op says he is using it with carbon fiber, which seems odd that he would be after the cheapest epoxy to go with probably the most expensive fibre

sounds like he needs to keep the price down to sell them at a profit...understand that a few cents here and there adds up.
