| It's foam, though I'm not sure if it's polyethylene or polyurethane without further research. |

| Whatever it is, it doesn't look to be in particularly good shape, apparently having absorbed some water. And it doesn't look like anything I'd want to find in a transom....

| Burn it*, if it smells like a blown out wax candle, it is PE, if it stinks chemical it should be PU. PS * a piece of it! Not the transom! That would give a falsified test result. Regards Richard

| From that yuear it could be Temanto, it was red then in about that weight (density).
