Tinted Kevlar?

I got a couple of samples of tinted kevlar cloth the other day, and they look pretty nice. There's blue, red, black (of course!) and mixed weaves.

My question is: Has anyone heard of tints/dyes for kevlar? The cloth I saw was tinted at the factory before weaving, and apparently there isn't much 1.8oz. tinted kevlar being made, if it's made at all. Ideally i'd like to try tinting the inside layer of kevlar on my boats before bagging.

Regards,

Matt Turner
