Teak and Holly Sole Project

I am laying down a new teak and holly plywood cabin sole in a 76 Chris Craft Coho. I have three questions to post.

1. What is the best material to glue the plywood to the existing substrate plywood?

2. How to handle the edges of the hatches, i.e. protect edges from damage.

3. The best finish for protection of the 1mm veneer.

I will post some pics tonight.

Thanks in advance for the help!
