Most are CV built for auto front ends.
The Aqua Drive used nice M/B part$, but all are common steel.

If you can use steel "Walter" makes ones that fit std boat shafting, and are not too pricy.

Perhaps they could do a custom in SS.

Here are some places to look. There are many sizes etc. As I don't know what you are looking for here are many possibilities.

http://www.huco.com/pdf/universal_joints.pdf
http://www.sdp-si.com/D785/PDF/D785CPLG032.PDF

And these guys can probably help you if it is for yacht propulsion

And here is a list of Manufacturers to talk to. Stainless is used in sanitary (food manufacturing) and acidic and caustic chemical areas. You have many to choose from. They even make miniture ones for RC cars and tiny machinery

Good Luck

Thanks. I'll take a look and contact these links. I'm building a prototype of a lifting prop drive. It will store flush with the hull and drop down, when depth permits.

Do a Google search on "Dis-pro" I hope my version will be a bit simpler, using off the shelf componets and easier to repair. For my needs, the prop will lift up outside the transom. be a bit stronger and use my Bukh 10 hp. IF... I ever find a ss CV joint!!
