Anyone here have knowledge as to if Cobalt-12% has a shelf life of any kind? I just got a gallon from a friend that had it stored in his container. In the container it probably never got above 80 degree. But it is a few years old, maybe up to five or so. It was not opened though.

I've got some vinylester that I need to promote and needed it. And yes I will do my own small batch testing before mixing the larger amounts.

But I needed less than 1/2 a gallon and could only buy it by the gallon at around $90 so I went for the free gallon from my friend.

I was just wondering if anyone here had any real knowledge about cobalt's shelf life and would not mind sharing it with me.
    Thanks!
