In Search of Stylish Hardware

I am currently designing a 26' classic monohull sailboat and am in search of high-end hardware, both interior and exterior. Items that are clean, crisp and simple, and subtley different. Manufacturers such as Perko and Scandvick do not have what I am looking for. Any recommendations would be more than helpful; from faucet fixtures to haus pipes to lighting.
Thank you and I look forward to any input. I am open ears.

Sincerely,
Jesse Rhodes

My friend you are asking a broad question. Your idea of nice looking may be different from any of ours. There are many manufactures of marine hardware that I like...here are a few:
http://www.schwepper.com/eng/index.html
http://www.sugatsune.com/
http://www.davey.co.uk/
http://www.newfoundmetals.com/
You need to be more specific about style i.e. bronze or stainless.modern or traditional . Check out some of the Italian lighting and fittings manufactures, they have some unique stuff.

Thank you for the information. You're right - it is a broad question. She'll definitely have stainless, and probably modern, but I am, at this point, trying to feel it out.
Thanks again

Sincerely,
jfr

Jesse,

Ward is fairly thorough and may look you up like I did on Boatdesign.net. So when you meet or talk, look up what you have been asking for and talking about so you know what he may know just by doing his homework.

NC has some good sources for some of the products you want, so maybe I can help too. - later

Ward may not have done this, but use it as if he has. When you are on public forums, you are always "out there". So use what you have done under your name on this and other sites to enhance your pedigree.

Great dinner on Christmas- too bad I didn't rally and go out later.

Talk to you soon.

Mike

Mother of Pearl Mactan Tiles for Yacht Interiors.

Hi Jesse! For your interior design, would you be interested on a Mother of Pearl Inlaid wall tile like the one I have attached below?

I design, and my company manufacture these handmade tiles. The precious shells we use are Mother of Pearls, Paua, Abalone, Troca, Blacklip, Brownlip, Agate and many others. We have 20 different designs and patterns that you can choose from. You have a choice of ceramic, fiberglass, hardiflex and marbles as backings but we recommend fiber glass at about 2.5 to 5mm thickness for Yachts.

Purely handmade and a masterpiece! Created by our finest crafters. Available from 1"X1" upto 4'X8' (4ft by 8ft). We can also do custom jobs.

Please visit www.mactanshells.com or www.mactantiles.com.

We also inlay tables and other furnitures.

God bless!
