| Rust converting primers???? Anyone using a RC primer? I'm reading all sorts of claims. It seems everyone has climbed on board and making their own version. Just wondweing about the claims. Thanks. |

| Sorry I have used most of them and sadly none work over the long term. Most converters try to convert rust to manganese. Best to sandblast and be done with it. |

| Just get rid of the rust completely. Covering it up or chemically treating it doesn't solve the problem.

| That works externaly. Whai I need is a way to stop rust inside steel pontoons. What solutions are there where a person can't crawl or stand to sandblast? It does little good to have a shiny hull if it's "ticking" away from the inside?
